At New River Boat Works, boating isn’t just what we do—it’s how our love of boats began.

Our passion for restoring boats started in 2009 with our very first project. What began as a weekend of fun sailing to us wanting to update and make repairs to the newly acquired vessel, with that result new restorations started finding its way into our lives almost every year. Most of the time it’s one of our own boats, and other times it’s a customer’s prized vessel that deserves a second life.

Together, we bring more than 50 years of combined experience in telecommunications engineering, construction, craftsmanship, and problem-solving. Dee’s background includes decades of field engineering, project management, and hands-on construction experience, while her husband spent over 25 years as an ISP Engineer with Spectrum after proudly serving in the United States Air Force. Throughout our careers, we’ve developed a meticulous attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

Those same values carry over into every boat we restore.

Whether we’re bringing a classic fiberglass hull back to life, refinishing brightwork, upgrading systems, or helping an owner transform their vision into reality, we approach every project as if it were our own. We understand that a boat is more than just a vessel—it’s where families make memories, friends gather, and adventures begin.

At New River Boat Works, our goal is simple: quality craftsmanship, honest communication, and restorations built to last. We take pride in preserving the beauty, character, and functionality of every boat that comes through our doors.

From our family to yours, we look forward to helping you get back on the water.
